Chief Mrs Folashade Tinubu Ojo, the Iyaloja General of Nigeria has explained the circumstances that led to the closure of the popular Oyingbo market in Lagos, last Friday. She stated that, Honorable Omolola Essien, the Chairman of the Lagos Mainland Local Government, which oversees the Oyingbo Market, ordered the immediate closure of the market over the very poor hygiene conditions in the market. Tinubu-Ojo stated this while addressing members of the press at Alausa, Ikeja on Wednesday. “The Chairman of the Local Government called me and said that she had ordered the immediate closure of the market. SWAGA Moves To Osun In Grand Style

The South West Agenda for Asiwaju 2023, SWAGA’23 is in Osun State this week as it embarks on Local Government inauguration of the group and sensitization of the populace to the need to be prepared to support the aspiration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu for Presidency in 2023.  The group has gone round all the States of South Western Nigeria visiting traditional rulers, notable politicians and inaugurating State Chapters while calling for support for the former Governor of Lagos State and the National leader of the ruling APC as they persuade him to contest the Presidency of Nigeria in 2023. NOUS INTL. USA, Calls For Referendum Over Status Of Ogoni In Nigeria -Rejects Return of Shell To Ogoni Land

The National Union of Ogoni Students INTL. USA (NOUS INTL, USA), has called for a referendum on the status of Ogoni people of Rivers State in Nigeria. The group, in a statement, jointly singed by the President (NOUS INTL) USA, Mr. Pius B. Nwinee, General Secretary (NOUS INTL) USA, Mr. Sampson B. Npimnee, Coordinator (CDHRAC INTL) USA, Mr. Cornelius J.S Dumerene, and Secretary General (CDHRAC INTL) USA, Mr. Toate Ganago, called on the FG of Nigeria to divorce Shell from the NNPC/Shell Joint Venture and bequeath Shell's shares/ dividends to Mosop and Ogoni people.
